This guide presents the YIRF (Yelence Investment Readiness Framework): an investment-readiness scoring system calibrated for startups operating in the OHADA zone.
- Architecture
- 5 scored dimensions, 28 criteria, stage-dynamic weighting (pre-seed, seed, Series A+). A single score out of 100, mapped to 5 maturity levels (L1–L5).
- Distinctiveness
- The first framework to encode OHADA company law (SARL/SAS/SA), BCEAO/BEAC regulation, DFI requirements (Proparco, FMO, BII, I&P) and the equity/debt divide.
- Use cases
- Pre-raise diagnostic by the founder, client assessment by the consultant, pre-acceleration screening by the incubator. Not valid as a substitute for due diligence.
